The quilted gold brocade fabric is original and in near perfect condition. This pair has a simple yet elegant design with fluted column legs and a sleight back. The frame and cane work is in the original painted finish of cream with a gold accent. The Hibriten Furniture and Chair is known for custom handmade pieces specializing in cane backed furniture. Hibriten eventually merged with the well know Bernhardt Furniture Company whose manufacturing facility was located just next door. The condition of these pieces is a testament to the quality craftsmanship.
