Rare example of marqueteries pottery. This type of pottery was made by using different type of clay to create the pattern, and molded to shape. Fragile nature of this type of pottery result in very few example survive the 100-140 years of age. This teapot has a ribbed body with openwork handle. Appear to be in very good condition with no repairs. Circa 1887
