Description: A 19th century Victorian walnut work or sewing table. The round top surface lifts to expose a octagonal partitioned interior lined with a gold detailed paper and two silk purple lids. This was were one would typically store sewing tools and spools of thread. The conical stem and knopped lower section are supported on three cabriole flaring legs with carved knees and feet.
