Description: This sophisticated Sideboard showcases the Sheraton traditional features. There are the high backboards with scrolled broken arches centering four short half-round carved pilasters with cupped pineapple finials. The long top conforms to the bowed end cupboards and centers concave drawer above two cupboards. The beautiful reeded legs continue up the case with acanthus carved balusters and high spiked feet. Brass pulls are in styling with the piece but are not original. There are some signs of wear in the veneers and wood as to be expected with age. Circa 1830s. Please see all the photos.
